New interim superintendent, Dr. Kadee Anstadt, has returned to Perrysburg Schools to fill in as long-time Superintendent Tom Hosler leaves for a new job. Holser accepted a new position as CEO of the Ohio School Boards Association.

Starting her career in Perrysburg, Anstadt says her roots are strong. She is thrilled to be back after being gone for five years. She says it makes her happy to reconnect with coworkers and meet new people.

As interim superintendent Perrysburg Schools, she is like the CEO of the district. She explained, “Underneath my umbrella are all the teaching and learning, the operations, buses, transportation, nutrition, grounds and maintenance, and most importantly, students.” Essentially, she oversees all of the major workings of the school district.

Most students will know her as the person who calls snow days, and they’re in luck, because she believes that “every student deserves at least one snow day.”

Anstadt said she wants students to feel seen and engaged at Perrysburg Schools. So many clubs and opportunities are available for students, and she hopes that they will take advantage of them. Her goal for all Perrysburg students is that they leave Perrysburg Schools with a “heart of philanthropy.”

Anstadt encouraged Perrysburg students will get involved at their school so that they can soak up every last second of their schooling careers. Anstadt said Perrysburg has a deep-rooted sense of pride, whether it being through its outstanding education, sports, arts, or philanthropy.

“You know when Perrysburg is in the house,” Anstadt said.
