Last week, eSomethin.com ran a poll that asked Perrysburg resident’s who had the best ice cream in town.
With so many great options to choose, we were surprised that Lola’s Frozen Yogurt ran away from the competition in 1st place.
Fellow writer Sam Walter and I decided that this was as good a reason as any to try Lola’s Frozen Yogurt, located at 26597 N Dixie Hwy, Perrysburg, for ourselves and review their selection.
Lola’s is not like a conventional ice cream place where the worker makes a dessert for you. Instead, you are given a bowl that you can fill as much as you want with your choice of ice cream, along with any of the dozens of toppings available.

The price is based on the weight, at about 50 cents an ounce. For example, I purchased 9.5 ounces of ice cream (perhaps a small portion of that weight also came from the toppings) which totaled to a mere $4.66, which was surprising for the amount of ice cream I got.
Overall, I think our visit to Lola’s was a rather positive one, especially with the fair pricing and great customer service. I would definitely recommend a trip over there for any casual occasion, whether it be when one is hanging out with friends, a date, or even by oneself.
