“I feel like this year we really came together and bonded as a family,” says Perrysburg gymnast Kara Cousino. “I’m so proud of how we encouraged each other this year in both practice and during competitions.”
The encouragement Cousino speaks of paid off for the gymnastics team this season, who placed 8th overall in state competition.
Caitlin Madigan, a sophomore, deserves special recognition from the team for placing 16th in individual overall competition.
“I love gymnastics because it is my life,” Madigan says.
