Come one, come all to the second annual PHS Video Game Night. On Friday, March 16 PHS Robotics Club will be hosting the video game night in the media center.
The night begins at 5:30 pm till 10:00 pm and tournaments will start at 6:00 pm. There will be a raffle to win a GameCube console provided by Flotsam, a store in downtown Perrysburg who sells video game consoles.
Game Night features open play on many different games, plus tournaments in Super Smash Bros singles on the Wii U and Halo 3 doubles on XBOX360. You must have a partner with you when you sign up these tournaments.
There is a limit of 32 players for each tournament. Tournament sign-up happens at the door, so make sure you can get a spot in one.
Entry to game night costs $10 and includes a piece of pizza and a drink and 4 entries into the raffle. Tournaments cost $3 each with 1 extra entree into the raffle as well. “The money from this event will go towards Robotics Club building costs for the t-shirt cannon robot” says junior Nolan Matus.
Marcos Pizza is also sponsoring this event by supplying the pizza. There will be a variety of games in the free-play section of the night. Have an enjoyable time playing video games with your friends at school!
