With the weather getting cooler and leaves falling, it can only mean one thing: fall weather is finally here! Many people don’t know what to do in the fall, especially when Halloween is still far away. Well, I’m here to help!

- Macqueen’s Apple Orchard: Macqueen’s is a family owned apple orchard in Holland, Ohio. They are famous for their Apple Butter Stir Festival that is held the first weekend in October. They grow 16 different varieties of apples. From the middle of September to about the third week of October, you can pick your own apples. - HalloWeekends at Cedar Point: HalloWeekends is a yearly event held at Cedar Point in Sandusky where they pretty much turn the entire park into a haunted house. HalloWeekends Haunt is open every weekend from September 30th to Halloween and is, unfortunately, closed on Halloween. With over 20 different haunted experiences, it’s almost impossible not to find something to do. With deals being offered, you can save up to $90. - Wheeler Farms: Wheeler Farms, or as many people know it, The Butterfly House, is a fun-for-all-ages kind of place. There are four separate corn mazes, each a different level of difficulty. - Hoen’s Greenhouse: Hoen’s Greenhouse in Holland is holding their fourteenth annual Autumn Harvest Festival is on October 8th and 9th. - Night in the Museum: The Toledo Zoo is opening their vaults to share the history of the zoo on October 7th.
