1. Recycling Club meets Fri. Sept. 11, at 3:30pm in the main office. All are welcome
2. 1. PHS Student Council is hosting this year’s Homecoming Dance. The dance is on Sat. Sept. 19, from 8-10:30pm. Students & their guests must be at the dance by 8:45pm. There is no re-entry to the dance once you leave.
- Tickets go on sale Mon. Sept. 14 and are $10 each. Each student needs a ticket, if a student is bringing a guest they will need two tickets total.
- Tickets will be available at the door for CASH only.
- All students will need an ID to enter the dance. Acceptable forms of ID are: school ID, driver’s license, or state issued ID.
- Guests must fill out a guest form by Fri. Sept. 18. No junior high students are allowed and no guest over the age of 20 will be admitted. Forms are available in the main office. Reminder that students are responsible for their own guest forms, PHS does not fax/email forms.
- Random breathalyzers will be used as students enter the dance
- This is a semi-formal event. No hats, and no hoodies. PHS students and their guests are expected to behave in a manner that is appropriate to the board of education’s adopted handbook.
- We will have a DJ in the commons, yard games outside and food and drinks available for purchase.
4. Do you need help in a specific class?
Student led tutoring is available free. Students should stop by Room 216, the main office or the guidance office to pick up a form today! Tutoring is available before & after school as well as during early release time on Wednesdays.
Be sure to return the form to Mrs. Mazzarella in room 216, DO NOT put it in the pocket outside her classroom.
5. The Speech and Debate Team informational meeting will be held on Sept. 14 after school at 3:30pm in the multipurpose room. Come see what the fuss is about. Everyone is welcome
6. (8/14) Jacket Sports Network is looking for Members! Help with live broadcasts, scoreboard, graphic design… Email coach Seevers cseevers@perrysburgschools.net or stop down in the athletic office for more information.
7. Students, remember that you must fill out a pre planned absence form if you will be missing a day or more of school and the absence is not for a school activity. Forms can be picked up from Mrs. Mohler in the Attendance office.
