Winter Break is right around the corner here at Perrysburg High School. Students finished up their exams today. So, now, many students are left wondering what they should do with no school, and the solution is simple.
If you’re looking for something to go out and do you can go check out The Toledo Zoo for “The Lights Before Christmas” which is open ’til December 31st. On Sunday through Thursday, the gate remains open from 3-8pm. And on Fridays and Saturdays, the gates are open from 3-9pm. Check the zoo’s website for more information.
Another idea is to go ice skating, and a great place for that is at BGSU for the open skate sessions. General admission is $5 and the price of skate rentals is $3. They are open on Friday and Saturday from 7-8:50 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 3:30-5: 20 pm, and there also “Cheapskate” Monday- Friday from 12:15- 1:15 pm. Check there website to find out more.
Or if you’re looking for something warmer, you can go check out Ohio Skate in Maumee, which is open Thursdays, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Check out their website for more info.
One last idea that is exclusive to Perrysburg Levis Commons! At Levis, there are movies, pictures, Starbucks, books, and a lot more of things that high school students enjoy!
When having a good time, you don’t always need to be out spending money, there are plenty of things that you can stay home and do with your friends. Some examples are Netflix binge-watching, making Christmas cookies, doing a craft, listening to music, reading a book, playing games, or just scrolling through your phone.
Have a great break!
