‘Little Shop’ musical ‘bizarre and great fun’

Come see Perrysburg High School’s performance of the popular musical “Little Shop of Horrors”, open to the public Nov. 8th, 9th and 10th at 8 p.m. ,and Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.

The show will be held in the Perrysburg High School Auditorium. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased at the door or through the high school box office.

The hit rock musical is a zany comedy with “all over bizarre and great fun, ” said Morgan Brunsman, a senior who plays the lead of Audrey. Cast members urge the public to enjoy the play because of the passion, dedication and hard work put into it.

Connor Leupp, a junior who plays Mr. Mushnnik, said,  “Perrysburg prides itself on its theater department and little shop is a great example of such pride.”

Little Shop has modern-day ad lib, beautiful sets and cool effects that will make the audience gasp in surprise. The musical will have people laughing the entire time. Little Shop of Horrors will not only be a great experience for anyone who sees it but it has been a wonderful experience for everyone involved.

Michael Zito, a freshman who is a part of the musical’s chorus said, “Being a part of Little Shop has let me see the craziness behind a Perrysburg production.

Junior Jake Knight who plays Skip Snip said, “I learned how to be really confident. This musical is very interesting and really comical. YEAH!?!?”

McKenzie Weaver, a freshman Chorus member, urges people to see the musical, “It’s funny, people are eaten by a giant plant, and the music is fun. What’s not to love?”
