eSomethin Staff 2020-2021

Clara Burkin

Hey! My name is Clara Burkin. I’m a sophomore, and this is my second year on the eSomethin staff. I’m so excited to be back this year for all the new and exciting stories I’ll get to cover. I’m a thespian and a member of drama club. I was also on student council as a freshman as well as a part of ASL club. I hope to become a baker and own my own bakery someday. I have a tarantula named Aragog and I’m completely obsessed with arthropods of any kind, so lookout for any information on those! The 20/21 school year will sure be somethin’ to remember.

 Ari Collins

Hi, I’m Ari Collins and I am a freshman at Perrysburg High School. This is my first year as a member of eSomethin. I play tennis and I love art and music. I’m a poet and certified Edgar Allan Poe obsessor. When I’m not writing—well, that’s a hard one, I’m always writing afterall. Somethin’ about writing that I love is being able to write for myself as well as write for others which is why I’m so excited for my first year on the eSomethin staff!

 Tony Cox

Hi, I am Tony Cox, I’m a sophomore and this is my second year in eSomethin. I enjoy history and I read a lot of books—my favorite series being the Seven Realms. I’m out of things to say about myself, so… be safe, wear a mask, and have a great year!

 Mairead Dalton

Hi, I’m Mairead Dalton and I’m a sophomore at Perrysburg High School. This is my first year on the eSomethin team! Outside of writing, I am a member of the Book Club and the Perrysburg Crew Team! As a dedicated bookworm, I am so excited to share my love of reading and writing  with all of you!

He’s looking forward to recording and reporting the interesting news that’s sure to come from this abnormal school year. He also sometimes writes in the third person.  This year will be somethin’ to remember!

I’m Shane Fite and I am going into my junior year. This is my third year on the eSomethin staff and just like every other year, I’m absolutely thrilled to be here. If you see me around school with my camera, come say hi– as long as it’s six feet away. I absolutely can’t wait for another year of taking lots of photos and recording lots of memories.

 Maddie Pool

Hello There! I am Maddie Pool, a freshmen at Perrysburg High School. This is my first year as part of the eSomethin staff. I am part of the orchestra here at PHS and love watching Marvel and Star Wars movies in my free time. I’m so excited to be a part of something that can make an impact here at PHS.

 Grace Reiter

Hey there!  My name is Grace Reiter and this is my second year as an eSomethin staff member.  I am going into my senior year with high hopes, regardless of the tribulations that have been thrown our way.  Outside of writing for the school newspaper I play varsity tennis; I am on the French Club, Key Club, and Student Council exec boards; and I am a member of NHS.  I spend my time outside of school studying ballet at Ballet Theatre of Toledo; playing with my labradoodle, Maxwell; working on a kindness initiative that I started my sophomore year called Bee Kind; running; volunteering at Project MORE; and spending time with my amazing family and friends.
