6. Perrysburg Heights Community Center is looking for Reading Mentors. You can volunteer on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 4pm – 5:30pm. You will be reading with 3rd and 4th grade students. See Mrs. Ketterman to volunteer or ask any questions. tketterman@perrysburgschools.net
7. Students (parents are welcome as well) Volunteers are needed to assist with the Perrysburg Heights Community Center clean up. This is a great way to give back and earn service hours. 8. Students, join Interact Club – Open Meeting Mon. Sept. 28, room 143 at 3:30pm Earn service hours helping the community.
9. Do you need help in a specific class? Student led tutoring is available free. Students should stop by Room 216, the main office or the guidance office to pick up a form today! Tutoring is available before & after school as well as during early release time on Wednesdays.
Be sure to return the form to Mrs. Mazzarella in room 216. DO NOT put it in the pocket outside her classroom.
10. (8/14) Jacket Sports Network is looking for Members! Help with live broadcasts, scoreboard, graphic design… Email coach Seevers cseevers@perrysburgschools.net or stop down in the athletic office for more information.
11. Students, remember that you must fill out a pre planned absence form if you will be missing a day or more of school and the absence is not for a school activity. Forms can be picked up from Mrs. Mohler in the Attendance office.
12. Please recycle glass, pop cans and plastic, use the recycling bins in classrooms and the blue bin in the Commons.
