Printed jeans are everywhere now and most tops you can buy have some sort of pattern too. So sometimes it’s hard to make an outfit out of all of these pieces while trying to make sure that only one thing is patterned. Well actually, you don’t have to.
Mixing prints is another great way to make your outfit go from “blah” to fashion.
You may be thinking, “You’re saying that I can just pick any combination of non-matching clothes and wear them together?” Well, no. I’m not saying that. You have to make sure that both the colors and prints coordinate.
For example, you can’t mix a bright African print with soft pastel floral. But two types of floral, stripes and polka-dots, or chevron and something with African print are combinations that will go great together.
Colors matter too. Just because two pieces have colors that look nice together doesn’t mean the whole outfit will actually look nice together.

If you are afraid to try anything that’s too crazy, stripes, polka-dots, and chevron are the simpler options. These three patterns will go with almost anything, or you can mix them all together. Experiment with the clothes you have to find something you like together. Once you have an outfit that works, don’t be afraid to rock it!
