Clara Burkin
Hey! I’m Clara Burkin and I’m a junior in my third year on the eSomethin staff. I’m also a member of PHS’ student council and I’m the current historian of PHS’ Drama Club. Somethin’ I do outside of school is being a Toledo Zooteen and I do community theater. I enjoy spending time with my friends, and one day I hope to own a bakery. I can’t wait to report on all the fun we are going to have this year!
Ari Collins
Hey there! I’m Ari Collins, a sophomore at Perrysburg High School. I’m returning for my second year as a member of eSomethin, and I can’t wait to help deliver all the PHS news again! I’m a member of the French Club and Art Club. Outside of school, I devote a lot of my time to writing, but I also love reading, listening to music, and obsessing over Edgar Allan Poe. Some of my other interests include soup, skirts, and sonnets. I also enjoy the art of alliteration.
Jackson Detmer
Hey, I’m Jackson Detmer! I’m a senior at Perrysburg High School, but this is my first year as a member of eSomethin. I love writing, listening to music, playing the piano, and talking to friends. In school I really enjoy both English and History classes, as well as being a member of Writer’s Block. I’m excited to make the most of my last year of high school and my first year on the eSomethin staff!
Evelyn Eynon
Hi! My name is Evelyn Eynon and I am a junior at Perrysburg High School. This is my first year in eSomethin. I enjoy playing volleyball and spending time with my family and friends. Reading and writing have always been something I have been interested in so I am really looking forward to being a part of such a cool class. I am very excited to see what this year brings and I can not wait to start writing!

I joined in my freshman year and stuck around for the amazing people and the great experiences of reporting on important school and local events. Hiya! My name is Donavan Le and I am a senior at PHS. I am going into my first year as an eSomethin staff member and am hopeful for this opportunity to connect with all of y’all at the school. Outside of eSomethin, I enjoy photography, writing, and I play chess competitively. I’m also an avid enthusiast of music, movies, and sleeping. I’m ecstatic to be able to meet so many new people this year and hope to make this year somethin’ to remember!
Kerrigan Lockhart
Hey, my name is Kerrigan Lockhart! I’m a freshman here at Perrysburg High School, so this is my first year on the eSomethin staff. At school, I plan on joining Key Club and the Track Team. In my free time, I love to bake, read, draw, bike, and play tennis. I’m also very passionate about writing, and I hope this allows me to put my skills to good use. I am immensely excited to be a part of eSomethin. I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year!
Anna Miller
Hello, I’m Anna Miller and I am a senior here at Perrysburg High School! This is my second year being on the eSomethin team. I am also on the varsity gymnastics team at PHS and am a member of Link Crew, a group designed to help freshman with starting high school! I am also an executive officer for the National Honors Society! Writing is one of my passions and I will be pursuing a career in journalism! I am so excited to be a part of this amazing group for another year. I cannot wait to report about Perrysburg High School and amazing things happening in the community!

Hello, everyone! My name is Jose Orense and I’m a Junior at Perrysburg High School. This is actually my first year of being in eSomethin — so exciting! I’m also in other various classes, such as the school’s concert orchestra, a couple of honors classes, and French! I love writing, as well as playing both the piano and violin! I am so excited to write for this website, and I’m looking forward to making as many friends as possible this year.

Hey, I’m Seohyun Park and I’m a sophomore at Perrysburg High School. This is my first year in Perrysburg as well as my first year in eSomethin. I haven’t gotten a chance to look into clubs yet, but I like to draw and absolutely love to write! I am an avid reader, especially of fantasy books. I just can’t help myself. But as good as the book may be, I make sure to keep “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” as my favorite book series. I’m looking forward to being a member of the eSomethin team and a student of Perrysburg High School!

Hello there! I’m Maddie Pool, a sophomore at Perrysburg High School—back at it again for my second year at eSomethin. I’m in the PHS orchestra as a violinist, and a huge Star Wars fan as everyone I know already knows. I’m super excited to get back at it again at eSomethin.

Hey, my name is Lydia Reiter and I’m a junior at Perrysburg High School. This is my second year as a reporter for eSomethin. Besides that, I’m a returning letterman on the cross country and track teams, secretary of my class, president of Key club, in French club, and a part of Link Crew. I love working out at my local CrossFit gym, spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing with my labradoodle, Maxwell, and working on a kindness initiative called Bee Kind. Hopeful for a normal year of safe, healthy, and fun reporting!

Hey, Kennedy Rowley is back and this senior is ready to report on somethin’ new! This is my fourth year in eSomethin’ and my 2nd year as Co-Editor-in-Chief! Outside of eSomethin’ I am also super involved in the school. I am on the varsity rowing team, the Vice President of the Environmental Club, a Link Crew leader, a member of the French Club exec board, DECA, Project Invent, NHS, Pride Club, and Drama Club. When I am not at school I’m either volunteering through the ZooTeen program or with my friends. This year I will also be serving a one-year term on The City of Perrysburg’s Litter Prevention and Recycling committee. Hello, everyone! My name is Matthew Rutherford and I’m back at it again for round two on the eSomethin team, and it sure will be somethin! I am currently a junior at PHS and still have only had to take semester exams once in my life! I am the sousaphone section leader for PHS’ marching Yellow Jackets along with being a proud member of the Toledo ZooTeen program! This school year is still full of unknowns, but one thing is for sure . . . if there’s a great story out there, I will be on top of it!

Hi! My name is Riya Shah and I am a sophomore at PHS. This is my first year on the eSomethin team and I can’t be more excited! I play tennis for the Perrysburg Tennis Team during the fall and at the Perrysburg Tennis Center year-round. I am also a member of the student council here at the high school. I love to read, listen to music, and hang out with my friends. I am so excited to start reporting and get to know the rest of the staff!

Hi! My name is Ainsley Sutter and I’m returning for my fourth and final year on the eSomethin’ staff, where I will be continuing my role as Co-Editor-in-Chief for the second year. Another activity I am returning to for a second year is DECA, where I am on the leadership council for the ‘21-’22 school year. Additionally, I am fulfilling my role as a member of PHS’ student council for the fourth year, where I have been elected as senior class president! Outside of school, I work at American Eagle, where I have been selected to be apart of the #MyAEAmbassador program which allows me to grow my social media presence! I am super duper excited to continue to report controversial and student news for my senior year!

Hey! I’m Lindsey Sutter. I just started my freshman year at PHS. This is my first year being in eSomethin and I’m super excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the newspaper. When I’m not in class you can most likely catch me out on the lacrosse field. I play for Perrysburg and Ohio Lightning. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and spending time at my cottage. I can’t wait for a great year!

Hi, my name is Aisha Touray and I am a junior at Perrysburg High School. This will be my first year as a member of eSomethin. I love to cook and play my guitar as well as skate. I’m also a member of the school’s soccer team. I am so excited to be joining the staff this year and be a part of eSomethin!

Yo! I am Nathan Wolaver, a sophomore at Perrysburg High School, and this is my first year doing eSomethin. I enjoy watching TV. My favorite shows are “Attack on Titan” and “Parasyte.” Other times, I play “Call of Duty” and “Skate 3”, and draw, all while listening to rap and hip hop. Next year, I would love to join the Student Council, Art club, and maybe the lacrosse team. I look forward to being a member of the eSomethin team and I hope to have a fantastic year!
